Apparently, when I accidentally told a Java FTP client to download all files in the current directory as well as ../ it decided that I wanted all the files and directories one level above my current location.
Instead of downloading about 50 moderately sized jpegs it is downloading about 500 and there doesn’t appear to be a cancel button other than refreshing the page. I’m already about halfway done too…
